Since 2005, MA has been developing software and partnering with other software providers to offer facility access control systems directly to end users. With HID and Mercury PoE controllers, organizations with IT resources have the ability to install PoE controllers themselves while receiving remote software installation and support from MA. This new business model has proven to be very successful. When the IT department is directly involved in the installation of the controllers, the need for technical support drops substantially. Typically our customers will hire a commercial locksmith or installer to install the readers and mechanical locking mechanisms at the door. Consequently, our customers pay approximately 60% of the industry average per door and receive enterprise-level software features.

Today, MA primarily focuses on three industry sectors: Education; Healthcare; Military. We have customers spanning North America from K-12, universities, hospitals, health clinics, and of course the US Army, Navy, and Air Force have all benefited from our products and services. Additionally, MA offers a complete line of access control components for replacements, spare units and system expansion via Middleware Distribution.

For customers who do not have the IT resources to install our systems, we sell to regional security installers and commercial locksmiths who are expanding their businesses to include access control.
