Upgrade to the latest CredoID Software version
As of December 31, 2020, Access Metrics and CredoID versions 2 and 3 are no longer supported. If you have a technical support issue with one of these versions, you must upgrade to the latest version of CredoID. Starting with version 4.0, CredoID software is 100% web-based, extremely stable and much easier to administer.
In 2012, HID discontinued the original EDGE E400 controller and replaced it with the EDGE EVO product line. The latest version of CredoID is compatible with the EDGE EVO controllers, the new HID Aero line of controllers and the LP1501 Mercury controller.
The upgrade process is much more efficient when Middleware Associates works directly with the end user and installer (if applicable) to plan the complete upgrade process. For large databases with many users, schedules and access levels, it is highly recommended to have the existing database converted. However, for smaller databases with few schedules and access levels, or a system that has inaccurate data, it is recommended to start a fresh rebuild and only import in the active users and their credentials.
To conclude, our conversion script keeps everything except the history events. It is therefore highly recommended to make a final backup of your existing database and run a final event report for the past 365 days. To upgrade to our latest software version please fill out the following form.
