Flashing HID Firmware.

HID FIRMWARE FLASH INSTRUCTIONS FOR EDGE AND EDGE EVO CONTROLLERS

  1. place the .img file in the C drive
  2. FTP into device with user: root and password: pass
  3. run the following command: put c:\E400_300.img flash_all_force [OR] ftp: put C:\ <file name> flash_all_force
  4. watch screen to completion of flash (typically 4 to 5 minutes)
  5. Set up network settings of controller; all network settings will be the same except for the host IP address and the Here I Am interval which should be set to 120 seconds for HID EDGE EVO or VertX EVO.
  6. You might have to do a power reset before point 5.
