About Us
Middleware Associates, LLC (hereafter MA) is a privately held business that was founded in January 2004 by Patrick Conners as an enterprise security consulting firm. In 2005, MA worked closely with HID Global Corporation in the deployment and testing of the first PoE-based controller named HID EDGE. Today, this product has evolved into the next-generation PoE+ controller, the Mercury MP1501.
Since 2005, MA has developed software and partnered with other software providers to offer access control solutions directly to end users who have the IT resources to install the PoE+ controllers/readers. MA offers the remote installation of software, controller firmware upgrades, remote support, and software upgrades. In 2007, MA partnered with Midpoint Security in Lithuania to launch our Access Metrics software that included access control, time and attendance, IP digital video integration, intrusion integration, and more. Today, MA offers this software in North America under the name CredoID.
