HID® EDGE EVO and VertX EVO Controllers

The HID EDGE EVO PoE IP controllers and readers are ideally suited for new installations. The VertX EVO family is designed to upgrade existing legacy systems where the end users prefer to keep their existing readers and credentials. Legacy systems typically home run all wiring from the doors back to centralized electrical closets. In this scenario, VertX is ideal for upgrades to modern software platforms like CredoID. Since both the EDGE EVO and VertX EVO controllers have solid plastic covers, no enclosures are necessary.  Both the EDGE EVO and VertX EVO controllers utilize the same HID firmware, thus allowing even more flexibility for organizations that are expanding their facility space or are expanding via acquisition. CredoID software is compatible with EDGE EVO and VertX EVO controlles.
