Rarily, we have experienced a Hardware ID mismatch in the unit and this identity crisis does not allow you to flash the units.

To resolve the problem, utilize the setE400 (attached) utility to update the units HWID. This step may not be necessary in all instances.

1. FTP the setE400 utility to the /tmp directory on the Edge unit.
2. Telnet into the unit and enter chmod 775 /tmp/setE400
3. While still in telnet, enter ./tmp/setE400. This corrects the HWID and allows you to use the FTP update method. /tmp
